Here in the northeast the temperatures are rapidly dropping, which makes it the perfect time to share not one, but TWO, different tea based witchy products! When I was approached by two different publishers about reviewing things about tea, I couldn’t resist pairing them up for this review!
First is “A Tea Witch’s Grimoire: Magickal Recipes for Your Tea Time” by S.M. Harlow. This was a wonderful surprise. This compact, yet nearly 200-page book is packed full of EVERYTHING tea. “A Tea Witch’s Grimoire” has practical tea information, for your average tea drinker, but more importantly, it is filled with ways to take your average tea drinking experience and kick it into the magical realm. Obviously, there is discussion of tea blends, but Harlow also covers ways to amp up your tea with sigils and crystals, incorporating tea into your seasonal rituals, and a personal favorite, tea divination. You’ll also find tinctures and potions, and honestly, just lots of great ideas.
I would be remiss if I didn’t draw attention to the physical appearance of the book. At only $16.95 you get a hardcover with a built-in ribbon bookmark. The entirety of the book is full color and loaded with charming illustrations.
“A Tea Witch’s Grimoire” by S.M. Harlow is a fantastic resource for anyone curious about tea or already devoted fans of the beverage! You can learn more here.

The other tea-based fun to share is “The Herbal Tea Magic for the Modern Witch Oracle Deck” by Elsie Wild. This 40-card deck features beautiful cards centered around tea and the herbs that go into making it. You may be questioning as to how to use a tea-based oracle deck, but don’t worry, Wild has got it covered. Each card has associations, for instance White Tea is associated with blessings, new beginnings, and clarity. The guidebook that is included in the deck expands on these ideas. Thusly, you can use this oracle deck in the myriad of ways that you would utilize similar decks. However, I’m a fan of the single card draw and “The Herbal Tea Magic for the Modern Witch Oracle Deck” makes the single card draw extra fun by providing insight, but also a suggestion for a kind of tea to drink!
Elsie Wild’s deck is a fun and insightful deck for those who resonate with teas! You can learn more here.
