Fun fact, one of the first books I purchased about magic was written by Amber K, which is why I was thrilled to have an opportunity to read her latest book. The emphasis on crystals is icing on the cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A significant portion of \u201cStone Witchery & Divination\u201d is focused on the many ways you can use minerals, rocks, and gems for divination. Honestly, I hadn\u2019t realized how many ways you could use stones for divination! There\u2019s obviously casting them, but there is a huge variety of ways to do that. The author discusses lithomancy (the ancient practice of using stones for divination) in an astrological framework. There is also using the Wheel of the Year, a Pentagram, and more. The book even includes Doreen Valiente\u2019s system. She also discusses casting using things other than, or along with crystals. And there\u2019s pendulums, and scrying, and seriously, just a dizzying number of options!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For as much attention as divination receives in \u201cStone Witchery & Divination\u201d, Amber K does devote just as much time to how to use crystals in your magical practice. This part discusses every type of magical work and the stones you can use to amplify it. She explores meditation, chakra work, talismans and amulets, attraction, healing, medicine wheels, grounding, and much more! You\u2019ll find a full color section highlighting over 90 stones, along with appendices that cover traditional gemstone identification and correspondences, a list of stones in alphabetical order by attribute, unusual stones, color correspondences, symbols for talismans, special stones from folklore, and birthstones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
