Since 2016 if anyone asked me for a recommendation for a book about palmistry I would immediately reply with \u201cThe Art and Science of Hand Reading: Classical Methods for Self-Discovery through Palmistry\u201d by Ellen Goldberg and Dorian Bergen. However, that book is nearly 550 pages long and has the suggested retail price of $35.00. It is a worthy investment for those serious about learning the art\/science of palm reading, but what if you aren\u2019t sure you\u2019re serious?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In that case, Hampton Roads Publishing (an imprint of Red Wheel Weiser Books) took care of that at the end of last year (Yes, this is a LONG overdue book review) with the release of \u201cPalmistry: Your Plain & Simple Guide to Reading Destiny in Your Hands\u201d by Sasha Fenton. (This book was previously published as \u201cPalmistry Plain & Simple\u201d.) At roughly 160 pages and a retail price of $14.95, this is the perfect little try it, you might like it, book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although less dense than the before mentioned \u201cThe Art and Science of Hand Reading\u201d, Fenton has made sure \u201cPalmistry\u201d covers all the bases to give you a solid base to build your future hand reading practice on. \u201cPalmistry\u201d discusses the major and minor lines, how to make handprints, the map of the hand, and other features of the hands and how they can be used to judge someone\u2019s character and possibly predict the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019ve been considering exploring palm reading, but were not sure where to start, I highly recommend \u201cPalmistry\u201d by Sasha Fenton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
