Long time Magical Buffet readers need no introduction to Dawn Aurora Hunt, the owner of Cucina Aurora and witch of all thing kitchen. However, if you\u2019re new here, Hunt is the author of \u201cA Kitchen Witch\u2019s Guide to Love and Romance\u201d and \u201cKitchen Witchcraft for Beginners.\u201d Her company, Cucina Aurora started out making custom olive oil blends and has now branched into cookie mixes, risottos, coffee, and more. Being a fan of all things food I\u2019m sure it surprises no one that I\u2019m a big fan of Hunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of this was why I was WAY TOO EXCITED to learn Hunt had an oracle deck coming out and she offered to send me a review copy! As I already use a kitchen witch oracle deck for readings for others, I couldn\u2019t wait to see what hers had to offer. So, without any more back story, let\u2019s look at \u201cA Kitchen Witch\u2019s Culinary Oracle Deck: Gain Daily Insight and Bring Magic to Your Meals with Everyday Ingredients.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u201d Culinary Oracle\u201d is 55 cards, although 5 of them are information, making the deck 50 cards. It does not come with a guidebook, but the informational cards give you enough to go on and there is a QR code to scan that can offer more ideas and information. The cards are full color on great stock with the most adorable illustrations done by Alyssa Pelletier. Unsurprisingly from Hunt, each card is like a love letter to the food, and the inclusivity in the deck is wonderful. You\u2019ll find many expected foods, such as apples and onions, but also some fun surprises like kitchen tools (mixing bowls and wooden spoons) and a personal favorite, junk food!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like most oracle decks, \u201cA Kitchen Witch\u2019s Culinary Oracle Deck\u201d excels at being used for a single card draw, but for you\u2019re looking for a little more, Hunt suggests a three and five card spread to try out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
