Pop\/Rock<\/strong><\/p>\n Beloved rock songstresses who evoke the contemplative mood of the cold season include Tori Amos with her reflective \u201cWinter,\u201d<\/a> a beautiful ballad on solo piano with Tori\u2019s soulful lyrics (“Little Earthquakes”, 1992). Equally cool is Sarah McLachlan\u2019s “Wintersong”<\/a> album featuring 12 tracks about wintertime including a the glistening gems \u201cWintersong,\u201d \u201cSong for a Winter\u2019s Night\u201d and a cover of the Joni Mitchell classic, \u201cRiver.\u201d<\/p>\n
