It isn’t ideal (just because we place so much prominence on the front door). So our thoughts for you are twofold: 1) make sure you could use it (sometimes it’s so neglected it can’t be used, which is an issue) and 2) we would encourage you to try to use it once a week or so. It will change your whole perspective to come in and go out that door, which invites a new energy. Good luck!
