Define Gnosis is the hardest think that is not because you can not explain the concept, of course you can do that but there is no sense in explain it because no mater how much I try I will never find the way to describe the complete real sense.
But I always used the example of someone that never knew or taste an apple:
He came one day wile I was eating an apple and ask what you are eating. This is an apple, -ok, in this moment he ready knows how it looks the fruit but for him the next is a mystery:
-how did taste: well is lumpy sweet and sour and the skin is in a plastic flavor. Now it doesn’t mater how much I try to explain to him he will never have the complete sense of my explanation because he have to tasted for himself in other wise will never get it, for him still a mystery and has to break that barrier, has to cross the threshold then will be acquainted in a complete aware of his yearn. The mystery is no longer.
So this is a parallel situation with you because you heard about it, you know how it look but to comprehend the complete sense of your necessity, to know (yearn) you have to cross the threshold.

Darlin, I fail to see how being unable to define Gnosticism makes you a jerk. Frankly, having read the answer to the question, I still can’t figure out what it is. And I’m no jerk. (Although it is distinctly possible that I’m also not nearly as smart as I thought I was.)
