While you were seeing the dude up close and personal the rest of us mere mortals were watching his reruns on the travel channel. The show was an old one about Fall River and the HUGE portuguese community there from the Azores. That’s MY PEOPLE. I forgive Anthony all his smugness and irritability cuz when he talks about some of my favorite cultures and cuisines he does with so much affection and enthusiasm.
I am so glad you enjoyed your evening with him. and Thanks for sharing it with all of us!!

I think it’s pretty cool that you got him to sign a print-out of your blog. Sounds like he was pretty surprised and appreciative of the fact that he inspired you to go out and explore “pho” with minions in tow 🙂

Also, I now need to check out Yono’s next time I’m in the area.
