I found nothing haunting about this school. I was there when a fire raged from a building near the main school. I was also there when a girl 2 years before I arrived hung her self in a closet of the girls dorm I heard she was very troubled. I was a townie. Day- hop. I did hear of teachers hearing footsteps and doors shutting for no reason in the teachers dorm rooms. They would often tell us these stories. I would walk home at night after being tutored. The only thing that freaked me was the pig farmer across the street. His hogs would get loose and chase us!.I found the grounds peaceful and would often walk through the woods past the tomb to get to school. A lot of The history behind St. Nazianz can be found at the bank in St Nazianz. They had pictures of the onion towered pink convent before it burned. The people were Communist Catholics that settled in the area. They were from Germany. Father Oschwald founded the village. The unique buildings of JFK Prep should be put on the historical register. It is to bad that the Eco house and theater were torn down. I hope that someone can save this historical school!
